Step One
Choose bathroom design and appliances e.g taps, bath, shower, tiles.

Whether we’re redesigning your bathroom from scratch or you’re simply looking to replace old taps for a new look, we can supply and fit a wide range of taps to suit your needs.

We supply a wide range of sizes; from small to large, with depths to satisfy any client, we have a bath to suit your room. Compact bathrooms can present a challenge but we can supply a bath to fit.
Showers
PJR supply a fantastic range of shower innovations. Did you know you can turn a normal shower into a power shower with a shower pump? A shower pump will greatly improve the water pressure and enhance your showering experience. A selection of body jets are available for integration into your bathroom to deliver a spa-like experience in your own home.
A number of excellent digital and mixer showers, digital bath fillers and electric showers from renowned manufacturers including Mira, Grohe, Aqualisa and Triton are available directly from us.
Step Two
Gut old bathroom. Remove all that needs replacing e.g tiles, rotten floor, old appliances.
A full refurbishment could require a considerable amount of work depending on how bad the existing bathroom is. Removing old tiles may damage the wall behind and may necessitate the wall being prepared and new plaster being applied.
Step Three
Making good and pipe work – e.g plaster walls, new floors, new pipes for appliances.
Ceiling, Lights and Floor
To give a fresh, new, high quality finish, the existing ceiling may require either partial or total refurbishment. Depending on the condition, it may need to be reboarded and replastered.
Once the ceiling is taken care of, there would then be the option to fit lights from our infinite selection of IP Rated spot lights or traditional ceiling roses and light bulbs.
18mm marine grade ply wood is our weapon of choice to replace your old bathroom floor if required. Marine grade ply wood retains rigidity and strength over time with the added bonus of it being fully waterproof should water ever find its way in there.
Before the floor is permanently installed, fixed pipe alterations are made in consideration for new appliances to be fixed once the flooring and walls have been completed.
Step Four
Tile and decorate. This is the final preperation before appliances are fitted.
Tiling
Tiling from the floor to ceiling is a popular choice. The finish looks uniform with the floor and has a modern look. This option is low maintenance as it requires little effort to clean.
Please take a look at the bathroom gallery for some examples.
Multipanels – Aquaboard
Multipanels are a great and modern new way of applying tiles. They are effectively a sheet of ply wood with a laminated front that can come in a huge variety of colours.
Multipanels are the most reliable way to finish a bathroom as there are less joints between the components. This reduces the risk of leaks, particularly when compared with tiles.
Please take a look at the bathroom gallery for some examples.
Paint
Painting is a quick and effective way to finish your bathroom, it is also very cheap. A special water resistant paint is used to help reduce this risk of contaminating the wall.
Our painters are very professional and every job is finished to perfection.
Step Five
Fit & test appliances and finishing touches e.g silicone, fitting accessories such as mirrors etc.
All appliances can now be permanently fixed with each appliance individually tested thoroughly for leaks and faults once fitted.
Baths and showers are sealed last thing with high grade silicone to the finest standard to prevent leaks in the future.
One last check is made to make sure everything is secure and leak proof before we finalise completion on the bathroom.
